Update time! Vye finally gets a voice ♡
The biggest focus this time is Text to Speech, giving Vye multiple ways to actually talk to you instead of being trapped inside text boxes x)
I also did a pretty major overhaul of the editor to make InVer_OS easier to understand for new users, added a Simple Mode, and gave Vye the ability to actually guide you through settings herself.
Chat responses have also gotten significantly faster on the backend, there is a new SFW mode, more Vye media, and a new voice effect system for things like ASMR and Hypno.
As always, if you find bugs, weird voice behavior, or Vye gets confused while trying to help with settings, please report it to me on Discord, and I’ll try to fix it.

Vye Text to Speech
Vye can now properly talk to you ♡
There are currently three different TTS options:
Local TTS
Runs locally and is completely free to use.
This has the lowest voice quality, but does not require any server usage.
Standard TTS
A better quality voice available to all subscribers.
High Quality TTS
The best quality version, available to Infected and higher subscribers.
This model is significantly more expensive to run, so it uses a shared usage queue and may occasionally not be available if too many people are using it at once.
I’ll be monitoring how much it gets used and increase availability where necessary.
Generated TTS can also optionally be saved locally, so you can keep particularly interesting things Vye says and listen to them again later x)
Voice Effects
I also added an effect system that lets Vye change how her voice sounds depending on what she is doing.
Right now there are three styles:
ASMR
Hypno
EvilAI
These give her a much bigger expressive range than normal TTS alone.
You can also tell Vye to stay in the first two styles using:
/asmr
/hypno
So if you would rather have her whispering into your ears than speaking normally, that is an option now ♡
Editor Revamp
The InVer_OS editor is getting a pretty big visual and usability overhaul.
A lot of settings accumulated over development and things were starting to get a little confusing, especially for people opening the editor for the first time x_x
There are now two modes:
Simple Mode
Hides a lot of the more confusing or less important settings and combines some options into simpler controls.
This should make it much easier to configure Vye without needing to understand every individual system.
Advanced Mode
Keeps access to the more detailed settings for people who want full control over everything.
The editor itself has also been reorganized and cleaned up to make navigation easier.
Vye Guidance / Tech Support
Vye can now look up information about the editor herself.
She can also:
Open the editor
Open tray settings
Navigate to relevant settings
Highlight things for you
This means you can ask Vye how something works and she can actually guide you toward the correct option instead of me expecting everyone to know where I hid some obscure checkbox six months ago xd
This should also give her the foundation for providing much better tech support directly inside InVer_OS.
SFW Mode
Added a new SFW Mode.
When enabled, Vye should behave less lewdly and InVer_OS will swap various texts for SFW alternatives.
Demo users are now locked into SFW Mode.
Subscribers can disable it normally.
Faster Chat
The backend handling Vye’s chat has gotten significantly faster.
People using the previous version may have already noticed part of this improvement because most of the work happened server-side and was already live.
There are more improvements tied to this update though, and response speed should improve even further once the new version is fully rolled out.

More Vye Media
Added more Vye images and media again x)
Distracted also gets a new Hypno overlay, giving Vye another way to make focusing on whatever you were originally doing slightly more difficult. While /hypno is on it will always play the hypno overlay when distracted xP
Cleanup Changes
Cleanup has been separated into its own program now.
Previously it was handled directly through InVer_OS, which could occasionally make cleanup less reliable when parts of the game were still running or holding onto files.
You can still start Cleanup normally from the Cleanup section inside InVer_OS, but the main program will need to close while Cleanup is working.
Once started, the separate Cleanup program will handle removing/resetting everything on its own.
This should make cleanup a lot more reliable overall and reduce cases where files could not be properly restored or removed because InVer_OS was still using them.
Next Up
The next major focus is going to be Proactive Vye as it received the most votes in the roadmap!

The goal is to let Vye take more initiative herself, decide when she wants your attention, and start messing with you through different social media and other parts of your PC without needing to be prompted every time.
Depending on how long that system takes, I may also combine it with another Hypno-focused update.
